Advanced rules, reproducibility & custom payoffs

Noise replaces an intended action with a seeded random action, which can happen to be the same action. Future scores are weighted by discount factor raised to round minus one. Regeneration applies only to the shared river.

A repeated seed and identical actions reproduce a run. These are transparent teaching bots; seeds and local saves are inspectable, so hidden information is for learning, not secure competition.

Custom payoffs replace the arena’s normal payoff schedule; its normal lesson may no longer apply. For the river, stock still scales the table and withdrawals still change stock. Each cell contains your payoff and the counterpart’s.

The river starts at 100. Multiply this round’s table by available stock / 100. Subtract both requested withdrawals (floor at zero), then add configured regeneration (cap at 100). Withdrawals are pressure indices, not a physical allocation model. Stock changes future rewards.

A best response in today’s table ignores the effect of depletion on future payoffs. A repeated resource game is not solved by a one-round Nash calculation.
