Limited content positions
Ads may appear after a complete explanatory section on the home page, indicator pages, and country pages. Each position is intentionally separated from navigation, source actions, and interactive controls.
Play stays clear
Ads do not appear inside Play experiences, search results, error pages, privacy pages, methodology, source documentation, or between a question and its answer. Overlay, anchor, vignette, and interstitial formats are not used.
Advertisements look like advertisements
Paid units use the label Advertisement and remain visually distinct from data cards, editorial recommendations, download links, and site navigation. Visitors are never asked or rewarded for clicking an ad.
Consent before advertising
Advertising remains disabled unless valid account configuration, an updated privacy disclosure, and required regional consent controls are active. Where required, advertising technology remains blocked until a visitor makes a choice through a Google certified consent platform. Refusing advertising consent will not block educational content.
