This notice explains browser storage, analytics, and payment technology used by Slantwire Studios, LLC. Effective September 3, 2026.
No advertising cookies
Google AdSense is disabled. World Economy does not currently place advertising cookies or use cookies for cross site behavioral advertising.
Local storage stays on the device
The website may use browser local storage for preferences such as the economic passport. The iOS app uses device storage for saved indicators, countries, and cached public datasets. These choices are not connected to a project account and can be removed by clearing site data or deleting the app.
No browser analytics beacon
World Economy does not load the Cloudflare Web Analytics browser beacon and does not use a browser analytics cookie, local storage identifier, or fingerprint. Cloudflare still receives network request information to deliver and secure the service and may provide operational metrics for the site. See the Privacy Notice for those categories and purposes.
Stripe and Apple purchases
When an adult chooses to purchase a digital curriculum package on the website, the visitor leaves the project checkout form for Stripe's secure checkout. Stripe may use cookies or similar storage that is necessary for payment, security, fraud prevention, and preferences under Stripe's own policies.
Purchases made in the iOS app are processed by Apple through StoreKit. The app reads verified purchase entitlements on the device and does not add website advertising cookies or send StoreKit transaction records to the project website.
Browser and device settings
Browser controls can remove or block cookies and local storage. Blocking local storage may reset saved preferences. Blocking storage used by Stripe may prevent checkout from working, but free educational content remains available.
Consent before activation
If advertising is introduced, this notice will be updated before activation. Where consent is required, advertising technology will remain blocked until a visitor makes a choice through a Google certified consent platform. Refusing advertising consent will not block access to educational content.
